The Tempest is one of Shakespeare's most magical plays and young children love the characters of Wizard Prospero, Sprite Ariel and Monster Caliban. This is a cross curricular topic web showing you ways teachers can base learning for KS1 children around the story and Shakespeare's life, linked to all areas of the curriculum - even maths! Great for Shakespeare Week, I have seen ideas in here used to create great planning and learning opportunities which have been observed as fantastic lessons and produced some great work from children.
